About the PositionWe are seeking a dynamic andexperienced Medical Director to provide clinical leadership and oversightacross our primary care practices in Northampton and Amherst, MA. This role isresponsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe, and patient-centeredcare while supporting providers, optimizing operations, and driving continuousimprovement initiatives. The Medical Director will maintain an active clinicalpractice (70%) while dedicating administrative time (30%) to leadershipresponsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead clinical standards,quality, and patient safety initiatives
- Mentor and evaluateproviders; support performance improvement
- Ensure regulatory complianceand oversee risk management
- Optimize workflows, staffingmodels, and care delivery
- Drive population health andvalue-based care initiatives
- Utilize EHR/data to improveoutcomes and efficiency
- Enhance patient experienceand manage service recovery
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $225,000 – $275,000(based on experience)

Requirements:
- MD or DO with activeMassachusetts license
- Board Certified/Eligible inFamily or Internal Medicine
- 5+ years outpatient primarycare experience
- Proven clinical leadershipand strong communication skills
- Prior Medical Director/LeadPhysician experience
- Experience with populationhealth, payer programs, or practice transformation
- Training in leadership,quality improvement, or informatics
