Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for an Outpatient Breast Surgery/Oncology Clinic assignment in Seattle, WA. This role will primarily support one outpatient clinic location with occasional floating to nearby clinic locations as needed. The RN will work closely with a breast surgeon and independently manage patient coordination and clinical support within the practice.
This opportunity is ideal for candidates with strong outpatient oncology or ambulatory clinic experience who are comfortable providing patient education, telephone triage, and coordination of care for breast surgery and oncology patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide telephone triage and manage patient communications
• Support new breast cancer patient intake and coordination
• Deliver pre- and post-surgical patient education
• Educate patients on drain care and recovery expectations
• Coordinate care plans with providers and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR
• Assist high-risk and genetically predisposed breast cancer patients
• Collaborate with clinic staff across multiple outpatient locations

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Experience in an outpatient/ambulatory clinic setting required
• ONC Certification preferred
• Oncology experience (inpatient or outpatient) required
• Epic EMR experience required

Document Requirements:

• Active RN License (Compact License accepted)
• AHA - BLS Certification required
• Covid Card
