Job Title: Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Physical Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum 1 year License: State License (pending license accepted) Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - 1 year minimum experience - Previous charge experience required - Experience with charting systems (Epic preferred) Description: This position is for an outpatient orthopedic physical therapist. The therapist will be responsible for conducting 60-minute evaluations and follow-up treatments. The clinic includes 4 physical therapists and 1 physical therapist assistant. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. No weekends or holidays are required. Locals are accepted, but at a lower rate. First-time travelers are not accepted. If the therapist is certified in pelvic floor or lymphedema, they can also be scheduled for this population. The patient ratio is 1:1 during treatments. The clinic provides interdisciplinary support including physical therapy and unit secretary assistance. Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics. Daily evaluation and treatment of outpatient orthopedic conditions are required. The facility has a supportive environment for rehabilitation. Special procedures within the unit may include modifications based on patients' diagnoses. Therapist responsibilities will include patient education and home exercise program instructions.
