About the PositionHematology/Oncology Physician
Job Description:
Support outpatient medical oncology services with potential opportunities for inpatient night and weekend call coverage. The provider will work with a dedicated team including administrative assistants, nursing staff, RNs, and APPs (APRNs and PA-Cs). The role involves managing both new patient consultations and follow-up visits for adult patients with a focus on GI, GU, Breast, and Lung Oncology. Work primarily in outpatient settings using EPIC EMR, with occasional inpatient assistance based on demand.
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Eligible in Hematology/Oncology
- KY or IMLC licensure preferred; open to licensing
- KY DEA registration
- Outpatient medical oncology experience required
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- New graduates welcome
Work Details:
- Support staff includes 3 full-time administrative and nursing assistants
- Coverage needed: at least 1 week per month, preferably 2-4 weeks
- Patient volume: approximately 16 patients per day
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-hour days (08:00 - 17:00)
- Credentialing timeframe: 90-120 days
Compensation:
- Hourly Pay Rate: $4,290.00
- Daily Rate: $5,500
- Overtime (after 9 hours/day): $850/hour
