Urban Alarm is hiring a Lead Burglar Alarm Technician.

• Creates production drawings in compliance with customer requirements and specifications.
• Works with sketches and rough layouts of engineering designs as well as verbal instructions.
• Reads, interprets, and works from complex drawings.
• Revises drawings as required incorporating redlines and customer driven changes.
• Determines tooling requirements
• Creates a separate bill of material for the complete assembly including all details, hardware, processing, and finishes
• Uses computer aided drafting (Auto CAD) equipment and software

• High School Diploma or GED

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as drawings, sketches, sales orders, and work orders.

• Auto CAD experience is preferred. 

• Must have excellent written and verbal skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and interface with others.
• Ability to perform CAD operations using Auto CAD.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.   
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
