Overview

Wood Ranch Golf Club is seeking a motivated, member-focused First Assistant Golf Professional to join our professional golf staff. This individual will support all aspects of golf operations, elevate the member and guest experience, and serve as a leader within the team. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, service-driven, highly professional, and passionate about growing the game.

Experience Required

Minimum of three years of experience working in golf operations at a private club or similar facility.

• Strong understanding of daily golf operations, member service expectations, and tournament administration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Advanced working knowledge of Golf Genius tournament software.
• Ability to lead and support staff while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and confident with technology in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to delivering a positive, member-focused experience.

Essential Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Golf Professional with daily golf operations, including tee sheet management, pace of play monitoring, and golf shop oversight
• Lead, train, and support golf shop staff, outside services, and player services teams
• Coordinate and execute tournaments, leagues, and member events using industry-standard software (e.g., GHIN, Golf Genius)
• Provide high-quality private lessons, clinics, and junior golf programming
• Ensure a professional and welcoming atmosphere for all members and guests
• Manage golf shop merchandising, inventory control, and visual displays
• Maintain a strong presence on the golf course and practice facilities
• Support golf car fleet management, practice areas, and overall facility organization
• Uphold all club policies, procedures, and service standards
• Represent Wood Ranch Golf Club with professionalism at all times
