This full-time Pediatric Physical Therapist opportunity offers the chance to work with a diverse pediatric population in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment. You will collaborate closely with occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and other healthcare professionals to help children achieve their functional goals and maximize independence. Your Role
Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans for pediatric patients.
Provide evidence-based pediatric physical therapy interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and functional independence.
Collaborate with speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, physicians, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to support comprehensive patient care.
Educate families and caregivers on home exercise programs and strategies to support continued progress.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with company, state, and payer requirements.
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a positive, patient-centered clinic culture.
Support clinical excellence through ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.
Requirements
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent legacy degree (MSPT/MPT/BPT) from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
Current Virginia Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure.
Current CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
Pediatric physical therapy experience is preferred but not required.
Strong communication, collaboration, and patient advocacy skills.
Passion for helping children achieve their highest level of function and participation.
