CBDCE advances the quality of diabetes care, education, prevention, and support by delivering certification programs that reflect evolving best practices and professional excellence. Driven by our vision, we strive toward a future in which all persons at risk for or living with diabetes receive education and services from CBDCE credentialed professionals.

For nearly four decades, CBDCE has set the standard for professional excellence in diabetes care and education. From administering its first certification examination in 1986 to overseeing two nationally recognized credentials today of more than 20,000 health professionals, CBDCE has remained committed to advancing professional practice and improving outcomes for people at risk for or living with diabetes.

We are a small but mighty organization of 9 staff located in Schaumburg, IL. We offer a hybrid work environment, with 2 - 3 days in the office per week.
