Overview

Orchard Ridge Country Club is a first-class private facility with a beautifully manicured golf course, friendly members, and an exceptional staff. This is a fun working environment with a young Head Professional and 1st Assistant. The club dates back to 1924 with rich history, having hosted the PGA Tour in 1950 and the Inaugural LPGA Championship in 1955.

Orchard Ridge Country Club is in need of a 2nd Assistant Golf Professional, who is able to excel primarily in supervising outside operations, with the ability to work the golf shop as well. Outside responsibilities include: cart fleet management, driving range operations, tournament staging, bag room organization, overall cleanliness of facilities outside. Golf shop responsibilites include: friendliness, merchandise sales, computer skills, phone skills, tee sheet management, tournament management.

The ideal candidate is punctual, friendly, and able to build relationships with members.

Experience Required

PGA Associate is a plus

Essential Responsibilities

Responsible but not Limited to:

• Attracts and retains clients by consistently providing excellent customer service - Develops a strong professional network within club membership.
• Cart fleet management, bag room organization, driving range operations, tournament staging, overall cleanliness of outside facilities
• Assists membership with finding merchandise and/or processing merchandise.
• Proven ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Handling all facets of sales transactions including the operation of cash registers
• Support and assists in all golf programs, tournaments, and initiatives to enhance the customer experience, increase customer loyalty, and impact sales.
• Knowledgeable about service and product quality.
• Presents a professional, positive image that represents Orchard Ridge Country Club
