Overview

The Assistant Golf Professional will be one of the most visible employees at The Park. This position promotes a fun and inclusive environment and assists in delivering a high standard of service throughout the golf operation.

The ideal candidate is driven by professional development and seeks an opportunity to hone their skills and knowledge at a premier facility as they progress toward a future Head Professional role.

Experience Required

-Class A PGA or LPGA Member or Associate.
-Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
-2-3 years of experience preferred.
-Must be passionate about the profession, enjoy spending time at The Park and having fun.
-Experience with tee sheet software, POS systems & Microsoft Office.
-A people person.
-Maintains a professional image within The Park and the South Florida PGA Section.
-The ideal candidate has ambitious career goals in the golf industry.

Essential Responsibilities

-Assist the Head Golf Professional and Director of Golf Operations in promoting a contemporary and culturally relevant golf experience connecting with the local community of golfers and non-golfers alike.
-Responsible for fostering a fun, inviting on-course experience.
-Work collaboratively to encourage a positive work/life balance.
-The Assistant Golf Professional will be highly skilled in their profession; however, their impact on others is required to make them uniquely effective.
-Tournament Operations.
-Maintain a visible presence in The Hills area and on the golf course.
-Open/Close the Golf Shop when needed.
-Engage with the local community to showcase the fun and inclusive nature of public golf at The Park.
-Stay current on golf industry trends including technology, innovation, and staffing, and bring forth new ideas as The Park evolves.
-Provide coaching as needed determined by the Director of Coaching and Head Golf Professional.

$5,000 - $10,000 of other revenue available
