Description

• Coach patients and their families on therapeutic objectives, discharge preparation, and home exercise routines
• Document clinical assessments, treatments, and progress according to facility and regulatory standards
• Engage in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to care conferences to ensure cohesive treatment

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent qualification from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Additional certifications (neurological, geriatric, etc.) are valuable but not necessary
