Job Summary

The Electrical Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial electrical construction projects. This role involves working on both small- and large-scale bids, ensuring projects are priced effectively and delivered profitably.
Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates for commercial electrical projects.
• Review blueprints, specifications, and bid documents.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and cost analysis for labor and materials.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing.
• Develop and submit bid proposals within deadlines.
• Maintain organized bid files and documentation.
• Collaborate with project managers and operations teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in electrical estimating (commercial preferred).
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and construction practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office.
