Part-Time Field Representative

Waste & Recycling Industry

Established waste and recycling company seeking a self-motivated individual to support field audits, customer verification, and business development activities throughout Westchester and Putnam Counties.

This position is ideal for a retired or semi-retired individual with experience in trucking, waste and recycling, construction, property management, municipal services, or commercial sales who enjoys working independently and spending time in the field.

The successful candidate will perform customer inspections, verify service locations, identify opportunities for additional services, and help generate qualified leads for the sales team.

Responsibilities

• Visit commercial, industrial, municipal, and construction customer locations
• Verify customer service information and conduct account audits
• Inspect dumpsters, compactors, recycling containers, and other customer assets
• Confirm service needs and identify opportunities for additional services
• Visit new construction sites and commercial developments
• Identify businesses that may require waste or recycling collection services
• Observe service locations and document findings
• Generate qualified leads for the sales team
• Assist with special projects and field investigations
• Submit reports using a computer, tablet, or smartphone

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Familiarity with Westchester and Putnam Counties
• Good observation and communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable vehicle required
• Experience in waste and recycling, trucking, construction, property management, or commercial services is a plus
