Overview

Seasonal part-time guest service attendant position at Bucknell Golf Club supporting golf shop and guest service operations in a fast-paced hospitality-focused environment.

Experience Required

• Must have a friendly and positive personality.
• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must be dependable and have a strong work ethic.
• Knowledge about the game of golf preferred.
• Ability to make arithmetic computations quickly and accurately.
• Ability to deal effectively with the public.
• Must be able to operate a golf car in a safe manner.
• High school education or its equivalent.
• Must be able to fluently speak and write the English language.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. to waist height.
• Frequent bending, turning, kneeling and stooping required.
• Exposure to hot and cold temperatures.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Repetitive motion required including computer entry.
• Normal vision and hearing required.

Essential Responsibilities

• Check in golfers and maintain a properly functioning tee sheet and pace of play.
• Monitor, implement, and adhere to company goals, policies, procedures, and controls.
• Open, close, and secure the pro shop and carts.
• Bring carts from the cart barn in the morning and return them at the end of the day.
• Clean, fuel, and check carts after each use.
• Assist with receiving merchandise and adhere to purchase order procedures.
• Assist with rotation of shop displays.
• Maintain an organized stock room and assist with stock and golf shop cleanliness.
• Assist with pricing of merchandise.
• Assist with maintaining proper inventory counts and levels.
• Perform other duties as requested by the Head Professional.
• Provide service in any and every way and go the extra mile for guests.
