Overview

Under the direction of the Director of Golf, the Head Golf Professional will be responsible for the management of the golf operation relating to delivering an exceptional golf experience including: hiring, training, and mentoring professional team members, managing the golf shop, promoting the game, providing instruction, executing events including club tournaments, association play, and non-member corporate events. Will provide any other additional services to ensure an exceptional golf experience.

Experience Required

• Class A PGA member in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of related experience (either as First Assistant or Head Professional)
• Proven history of successful tournament management experience a plus. Proficiency using Golf Genius required.
• Positive and proactive attitude relating to guest service and overall guest experience
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in computer skills to include Microsoft Office programs
• Proven leader with experience building a team committed to delivering an excellent member experience
