Overview

Reynolds Lake Oconee has seven Championship Golf courses. Due to growth in the community, Reynolds will add 2 new courses. Fenmoor will open in the Fall of 2026, and the 10-hole short course will open in the Fall of 2027. Therefore, Reynolds is looking to hire multiple Lead Assistant Golf Professionals across all golf facilities. The role of the Lead Assistant Golf Professional is to work closely with the Head Professional in developing the staff to manage the day-to-day operations of the golf course, beverage cart, and snack bar operations.

Experience Required

• PGA Member desired, minimum of Level 2 PGA/PGM education
• Previous experience with golf facility operation.
• Good computer skills to include experience in Word, Excel, and POS.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Experience in Golf Instruction to include Jr. Program and personal play.
• 3-4 years of management experience.
• Must have a driver's license with a good MVR.

Essential Responsibilities

• Dedicated time and energy to ensure the enjoyment of golf for the Membership and our guests.
• Works closely with the Head Professional in managing the daily golf operations.
• Assists with training of new and existing staff.
• Assists in managing all golf operations staff.
• Ensures golf car fleet is maintained.
• Ensures the practice facility is maintained.
• Assists in the golf shop merchandise purchasing.
• Ensures all merchandise levels are maintained.
• Ensures the golf shop is kept clean and organized.
• Works with daily, monthly, and annual financial records.
• Assists with daily, monthly, and annual round counts and budgeting.
• Maintains levels of supplies for operation.
• Enforces rules of golf and rules of Reynolds Lake Oconee.
• Assists with tournament operations of all member events.
• Assists with the tournament operations of Corporate Golf Events.
• Provides golf instruction.
