LanceSoft is seeking a local contract nurse RN Clinic Behavioral Health for a local contract nursing job in Belle Mead, New Jersey. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Behavioral Health Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract The RN will provide individualized, high-quality patient care while collaborating with an interdisciplinary treatment team to support adolescent, adult, and older adult behavioral health patients.This role functions under the supervision of the Unit Director and Charge Nurse and is responsible for patient assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, documentation, crisis intervention, and therapeutic patient care. Responsibilities Complete nursing admission assessments and individualized treatment plans Administer medications and treatments according to policy Monitor and document patient responses and progress Participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning conferences Maintain accurate and timely charting/documentation Provide patient and family education Conduct psychoeducational groups and therapeutic interactions Maintain a safe and therapeutic patient environment Respond appropriately to crisis situations and emergency codes Follow all hospital, regulatory, and nursing standards of care Required: Active NJ Registered Nurse License or Compact RN License BLS Certification (AHA) ASN Degree Minimum 2 years of inpatient behavioral health experience Experience working in float pool settings Strong communication and computer skills Skills Inpatient Behavioral Health Crisis Management Medication Administration Patient Assessment Therapeutic Communication Behavioral Health Documentation Suicide Prevention & Patient Safety Patient Education Apply today to join a compassionate behavioral health team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care.
