Nurse Practitioner | Internal Medicine - General/Other Location: Fort Polk, LA Employer: SalviaCore Solutions Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Responsibilities Perform one-time, non-treatment C&P examinations and separation health assessments for Veterans. Conduct interview-based evaluations supplemented by physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing. Evaluate and diagnose respiratory and cardiovascular conditions using METs testing. Complete comprehensive electronic reports, medical opinions, and addendums based on exam findings. Review diagnostic results and medical records to support clinical conclusions. Qualifications & Credentialing Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license. Board certification through the AANP is required. Proficiency in METs testing and the evaluation/diagnosis of respiratory and cardiovascular conditions. Must be willing to complete DMA training to become DMA certified (client does not reimburse for initial portal training). Must possess a laptop for documentation (no Mac/Apple products permitted). Candidates must provide a CV that includes their current home address. A Self-Query National Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB) report pulled within the last 30 days is required. If medical education was completed outside of the U.S., a copy of the ECFMG certificate is required. Applicants must disclose any active military duty, reserve status, or current employment with the VA. This role is open to local candidates only (within a 50-mile radius). Requirement for Office-Based Providers: If providing services from your own office, the facility must meet specific accessibility and equipment standards. You will be required to submit detailed photos of clinic signage, designated handicap parking, wheelchair-accessible entrances, exam rooms with tables and workstations, and handicap-accessible restrooms. What We Offer Daily Rate: $1,200 flat rate for shifts of 5 hours or longer (includes time for exams and report completion). Half-day Rate: $600 flat rate for shifts of 4 hours or less (includes time for exams and report completion).
