Nurse Practitioner | Internal Medicine - General/Other Location: Monroe , NY Employer: SalviaCore Solutions Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Responsibilities Perform one-time, non-treatment C&P exams and separation health assessments for Veterans. Conduct interview-based evaluations supplemented by physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing. Evaluate and diagnose respiratory and cardiovascular conditions using METs testing. Review medical records and provide detailed, evidence-based medical opinions. Complete and submit high-quality electronic reports, including any necessary addendums or follow-up administrative reading of diagnostics. Maintain a professional environment focused on clear communication and timely documentation; no prescribing or treatment is involved. Qualifications & Credentialing Current AANP certification is required. Must hold an active and unrestricted full state license. Proficiency in METs testing and the evaluation/diagnosis of respiratory and cardiovascular conditions is required. Must own a laptop (non-Apple/Mac products only) and be proficient with electronic documentation. A background in General Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Compensation & Pension is preferred. Candidates must be willing to complete and become DMA certified (training provided; client does not reimburse for the pre-start portal training). A current CV listing the provider's home address and a Self-Query NPDB (pulled within the last month) are required at the time of submission. Candidates must disclose if they are currently on active military duty, in the reserves, or employed by the VA. If schooling was completed outside of the U.S., a copy of the ECFMG certificate is required. For those using their own practice: The facility must be wheelchair accessible (handicap parking, grab bars, specific clearances) and photos of the office, medical supplies, and emergency equipment must be provided for compliance review. What We Offer Daily Rate: $1,200 flat rate for shifts 5 hours or longer (includes all exam time, report submission, and addendums). Half-Day Rate: $600 flat rate for shifts 4 hours or less.
