We areseeking an experienced Locums Urology Physician to provide 24-hour hospital andemergency department call coverage in Salem, Virginia. This role involvesmanaging inpatient and ED consults, performing urgent urologic procedures asneeded, and responding promptly to call backs with a 20-minute response time.The ideal candidate will be board certified or board eligible, with activelicensure and strong urologic clinical skills.

AssignmentDetails:

• Schedule: 24-hour call coverage

• Patient Volume: Approximately 28 patients per day

• Patient Population: Adults

• Call Response: 20 minutes

• EMR: Electronic charting/dictation system (facility-provided)

KeyResponsibilities:

• Provide 24-hour urology call coverage, including inpatient and ED consults.

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a variety of acute and urgent urologic conditions.

• Perform urologic procedures and interventions as required.

• Collaborate with ED physicians, hospitalists, and specialists to ensure coordinated patient care.

• Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the EMR system.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology

• Active and unrestricted Virginia medical license

• DEA and CSR required

• Certifications: BCLS, PALS, ACLS
