This inpatient Vascular Surgery assignment focuses on post-operative floor management with no OR or call responsibilities. The schedule is designed around flexible recurring coverage blocks within a hospital-based surgical team.

Practice & Cases

• Post-operative vascular surgery floor coverage
• Consult management and discharge coordination
• Secondary support for thoracic surgery and ICU patients
• Adult inpatient population only

Schedule

• 10-hour shifts from 7:30a-5:30p
• Monday-Thursday and Friday-Sunday block options
• PRN and recurring monthly coverage available
• Approximately 16 shifts monthly

Requirements

• Must be a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
• Active Maryland license required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 3 years of acute care hospital experience required
