Certified Medical Assistant

Work Location - Springfield, NJ 07081

Position Overview

This role supports daily clinical operations by providing direct patient care, performing diagnostic testing, and ensuring accurate documentation within a fast-paced medical practice. The ideal candidate is a certified medical assistant who is comfortable multitasking, communicating clearly, and delivering a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and room patients, ensuring smooth patient flow throughout the day.
• Obtain and document vital signs with accuracy.
• Administer medications as directed by clinical staff.
• Perform point-of-care testing, including Flu, Strep, COVID-19, urinalysis, urine pregnancy tests, and ECGs.
• Scan and upload documents into patient charts to maintain complete and organized medical records.
• Monitor and respond to incoming patient messages and inquiries.
• Support general clinical operations as needed to maintain an efficient and patient-centered environment.

Required Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Prior experience in a clinical or ambulatory care setting preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Strong multitasking abilities and comfort working in a busy clinical environment.
• Bilingual communication skills, which are highly valued for patient engagement.

Schedule & Work Environment

• Full-time, 5 days per week, including Saturdays.
• Shift options include:
  • 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM
  • Saturdays: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM
