- Oracle Cloud Reports Developer
Description
Metric5Metric5 is seeking an Oracle Cloud Reports Developer. The Oracle Cloud Reports Developer will focus on HCM and Finance report development. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality reporting solutions from Oracle Cloud Applications. This role requires a blend of deep technical expertise in SQL and data structures with the functional understanding of core business modules to ensure performance, accuracy, and security.
Key Responsibilities

Report Development: Design and build complex reports using BI Publisher (BIP) and OTBI, leveraging Fusion data models to meet operational, regulatory, and executive needs.

Data Architecture: Advise on best practices for querying Oracle Cloud data by maintaining an expert-level understanding of the Oracle Cloud HCM and Finance data structures.

Full-Cycle Collaboration: Collaborate with business teams to gather functional requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications, ensuring alignment with best-practice documentation standards.

Testing & Optimization: Lead unit testing and performance tuning of report queries to ensure data integrity and high-speed execution for end-users.

Support & Maintenance: Troubleshoot and resolve report defects, data discrepancies, and performance issues across Core HR, Learning, and Finance modules.

Standardization: Maintain reporting standards and develop reusable assets to promote consistency and scalability across the implementation.
Required Qualifications

Experience: 5+ years of dedicated experience with Oracle Cloud.

Implementation Track Record:
-
Mandatory: Must have participated in at least one full-cycle Oracle Cloud SaaS implementation.

Technical Expertise:

Advanced BIP Report development and OTBI.

Strong proficiency in SQL and querying complex data structures.

Deep knowledge of data structures within Core HR and Finance (GL, AR, AP).

Compliance: Must be a US Citizen and able to pass a government background investigation.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong attention to detail.

Work Style: Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively as needed to achieve results.
Preferred Qualifications

Specific HR and Financial reporting experience in a consulting or government environment.

Experience with complex data reconciliation between modules.
Work Location: Remote within the US, with occasional travel to Tennessee.
Contract Length: 6 months.
