- Physical Therapist - Travel Contract
Description

Join a traveling Physical Therapist role in Roseville, CA where you will help outpatients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. This opportunity requires a licensed clinician who can evaluate patients, develop and implement treatment plans, supervise therapy services, and document care in compliance with regulations and clinic policies.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active California physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
- No new graduates. Minimum clinical experience required; demonstrated ability to complete comprehensive evaluations and develop treatment plans in an outpatient setting.
- Experience with outpatient caseloads and functional treatment programs focused on return to community activities.
- Ability to perform timely, accurate medical record documentation including goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry per clinic and payer requirements.
- Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Demonstrated adherence to state practice act, professional codes of conduct, and organizational policies for patient and employee safety.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience participating in clinical student education and supervising students.
- Familiarity with safe patient handling practices and clinic performance improvement processes.
Assignment Details
- Shift pattern: 5x8 schedule.
- 40 hours per week.

Impacting Patient Care
Evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans according to patient needs, goals, and physician direction. Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients. Design functional treatment programs to support effective return to community activities. Serve as an educator to patients, families, students, and coworkers. Maintain professional licensure, complete required continuing education, and follow regulatory and clinic policies. Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute feedback to improve quality of services.
