Overview

Charles Myers Golf Course in Charlotte, NC is seeking a driven Pro Shop Attendant who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization.

Experience Required

• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be coachable and have basic computer skills
• Must be dependable and have a strong work ethic
• Knowledge about the game of golf preferred
• Sunday availability required

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform clerk/cashier duties
• Process customer reservations for guests of the golf course
• Provide customer service to arriving guests to help expedite check-in
• Arrange and display golf shop inventory as necessary
• Collect green fees, cart fees, and other revenue and process transactions in the POS system
• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe workplace
• Assist in reconciliation of cash and accounts receivable charges to the daily register at closing
• Ensure the property and its amenities are secured daily
• Assist with set-up of equipment and golf carts
• Perform outside staff and Starter/Ranger duties as needed
• Welcome and greet guests and players in a friendly manner
• Explain rules and course etiquette to groups as needed
• Wash and sanitize the golf cart fleet and maintain organized storage areas and practice facilities
• Assist with set-up and organization of golf carts and equipment for tee times or outings
• Facilitate orderly and timely pace of play to prevent delays
• Answer questions in a friendly manner and keep records of starting times and golf cart numbers when necessary
• Ensure each group has four players if possible
• Pick up and clean practice balls when scheduled
• Perform related duties as assigned by the General Manager
