Overview

Part-time Proshop Attendant position at Neumann Golf Course supporting a fast-paced, hospitality-focused golf operation. The role includes inside and outside golf operations support and requires availability to work evenings until at least 10 PM.

Experience Required

• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be coachable and have basic computer skills.
• Must be dependable and have a strong work ethic.
• Knowledge of the game of golf preferred.
• Must be able to work evenings till at least 10 PM.

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform clerk/cashier-like duties.
• Process customer reservations for guests of the golf course.
• Provide customer service to arriving guests to help expedite the check-in process.
• Arrange and display golf shop inventory as necessary and directed.
• Collect green and cart fees and process them in the POS system as trained.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe workplace.
• Assist in the reconciliation of cash and accounts receivable charges to the daily register at the close of the day.
• Ensure the property and its amenities are secured daily.
• Assist with the setup of equipment and golf carts.
• Perform starter/ranger-like duties.
• Welcome and greet guests and players in a friendly manner.
• Explain rules and course etiquette to groups as needed.
• Wash and sanitize the golf cart fleet and maintain organized storage areas and the practice facility.
• Assist with the setup and organization of golf carts and equipment for regular tee times and outings.
• Facilitate an orderly and timely pace of play to prevent delays.
• Answer questions in a friendly manner and keep a record of starting times and golf cart numbers for each group when necessary.
• Ensure that each group has four players whenever possible.
• Pick up and clean practice balls as scheduled.
• Perform related duties as assigned by the General Manager.
