Conduct evaluations for patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations utilizing standardized assessments and observational skills.
Craft personalized treatment plans that effectively address both immediate and long-lasting needs related to communication, cognition, or swallowing.
Deliver focused one-on-one speech therapy interventions aimed at language, communication, fluency, voice, and swallowing challenges.
Collaborate seamlessly with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to create integrated care strategies.
Educate patients and their families, empowering them to continue progress beyond clinical sessions.
Assist with periodic inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, guaranteeing continuity of care as patients embark on their healing journeys.
Maintain diligent and timely documentation that aligns with state, federal, and organizational regulations.
Stay abreast of advancements in the field through continued education and collaboration with peers.
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.
State license as a Speech Language Pathologist.
Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification needed within 30 days of starting employment.
Mastery of evidence-based treatment approaches suitable for all ages, coupled with a deep understanding of both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing issues.
Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, fostering rapport with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams.
Ability to adjust therapy techniques to cater to diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

Adeptness in utilizing electronic medical records alongside documentation protocols.
