Description

Malena Produce, Inc., a growing leader in the fresh produce industry, is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our team. This position is responsible for supporting daily accounting operations, preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, monitoring cash flow, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, processing banking transactions, and maintaining grower accounts and settlements. Additional responsibilities include supporting year-end close activities, ensuring regulatory compliance, coordinating with external financial professionals, and providing management reporting and financial analysis.

Qualified candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field and have a minimum of three years of accounting experience. Strong Microsoft Excel skills, attention to detail, organizational abilities, and problem-solving skills are required. Experience in the fresh produce industry is a plus but not required.
