Job Details

• Perform detailed patient assessments, including thorough physical examinations and reviews of medical history
• Help evaluate and diagnose surgical conditions, interpreting imaging studies and laboratory results effectively
• Work closely with surgeons in developing and implementing tailored surgical plans for patients
• Offer intraoperative support that involves preparing operating rooms, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and adeptly managing surgical instruments during procedures
• Provide outstanding pre- and post-operative care, including administering medication, wound care management, discharge planning, and patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preference given to candidates with clinical rotations prioritizing surgical practices

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) for a Physician Assistant role
