Job Description:
As a Travel CVICU RN, you’ll care for patients recovering from complex cardiovascular procedures, including open-heart surgery, heart transplants, and bypass grafts. You'll monitor hemodynamics, manage critical drips, and support patients through their most delicate recovery phases.

Key Responsibilities:

\n

\nProvide direct care to post-cardiac surgery patients in the CVICU\nMonitor vital signs, manage vasoactive drips, and assess for complications\nCollaborate with cardiac surgeons, intensivists, and interdisciplinary teams\nOperate advanced cardiac monitoring and life support equipment\nDocument and communicate effectively to ensure continuity of care\n\n

Requirements:

\n

\nActive RN license (Compact license preferred)\nBLS and ACLS certifications required; CCRN preferred\nMinimum 2 years of recent CVICU or Open Heart Recovery experience\nStrong knowledge of hemodynamics, ventilators, and cardiac pharmacology\nAbility to adapt quickly in high-acuity, high-pressure settings\n\n
