Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (No weekends)

Candidate Requirements & Preferences
-
Experience: Minimum 1-year experience required. First-time travelers are accepted.

Licensure & Certifications: Active Medical Assistant (MA) certification and BLS required.
-
Preferred Experience: Prior outpatient clinic and psychiatry experience is highly preferred.
-
System Knowledge: Experience with EPIC EMR is preferred.
Clinic Setting & Patient Care
-
Facility Type: Outpatient pediatric and adult psychiatry clinic (2 patient rooms).
-
Patient Population: Adolescent and adult patients (ages 5 and up) with mental health diagnoses.
-
Workflow: Mostly virtual patients; in-person visits occur on Thursdays.
-
Floating: May be required to virtually assist the developmental pediatric clinic.
Key Responsibilities
-
Functioning independently as the only MA in the clinic.
-
Taking vital signs and collecting mouth swabs for lab testing.
-
Handling clinical administrative tasks: scheduling, medication refills, and insurance prior authorizations.
Department Support & Team Structure
-
Physicians: 1 full-time and 1 part-time Psychiatrist.
-
Therapists: 5 Mental Health Therapists.
-
Front Desk: 1 Patient Service Representative (PSR).
-
Leadership: On-site manager visits once per week.
Orientation & Time Off
-
Orientation: 2 weeks of training (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) alongside other MAs, adjusted based on skills and comfort level.

Requested Time Off (RTO): Up to 7 days of RTO can be pre-approved, provided you are willing to extend the contract duration to make up for the time. Any RTO exceeding 7 days requires manager approval.

Hiring Process: The manager must review and approve all profiles before an official offer is extended.
