Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Tech Duration: 26 Weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 1 year in PET/CT and General Nuclear Medicine License: State License required Certifications: ARRT or NMTCB, BLS Must-Have: - Experience in PET/CT and General Nuclear Medicine - IV starts experience - Knowledge of PACS - Inpatient and Outpatient experience Description: The position involves performing PET/CT scans and Nuclear Medicine procedures. Work schedule is Monday to Friday, with flexible start times including 6:00, 6:30, 7:00, 7:30, 8:00, 8:30, and 9:30 AM. Must be available for 1 evening shift and 1 Saturday per month. The contract duration is 26 weeks, with restricted time off in February and March. Federal holidays are off, ensuring a steady weekday schedule. A supportive team environment is provided, and first-time travelers are welcomed. Daily caseload involves approximately 33 PET/CT scans. Types of scans include whole-body FDG, brain, cardiac, and neuroendocrine imaging. The majority of cases will be oncology-related. Scrubs are not provided but grey scrubs are preferred. Candidates must be aware of the urgency in completing the fingerprinting process. References will be required from previous employers, including at least one from a leadership position. All applicants must comply with credentialing requirements in a timely manner. Candidates are encouraged to have valid state or compact licenses prior to submission. Education must be from an accredited program.
