Traveler Pay: $34/hr on W2
Housing Stipend: $700 weekly
Meals: $546 weekly
Weekly Gross: $2470 weekly for 36 hours

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position - RN Med Surg - Ortho
Location - 1401 East State Street, Rockford, IL 61104

JOB DETAILS:
Full Time - 13 weeks contract
Shift - 12 hours day and night (12X3 shift) // 36 hours weekly
Work Location - On Location
Ability to commute/relocate: Rockford, IL 61104: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred).

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to orthopedic and medical-surgical patients in an acute care setting
Assess, monitor, and manage patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, including joint replacements, fractures, and spinal procedures
Administer medications, IV therapies, pain management treatments, and post-operative care as prescribed
Monitor neurovascular status and assess for post-surgical complications such as infection, DVT, and impaired mobility
Assist patients with mobility, rehabilitation activities, and recovery goals to promote optimal outcomes
Perform wound care, dressing changes, and management of surgical drains and orthopedic devices
Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
Educate patients and families on post-operative recovery, mobility precautions, medications, and discharge planning
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
Ensure compliance with infection control, patient safety, and hospital protocols
Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and provide appropriate interventions
Support patient-centered care while promoting safety, comfort, and functional recovery throughout hospitalization.

REQUIREMENT:
Must have an RN-IL license
