Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist position in Columbus, OH at an outpatient clinic where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. This role includes comprehensive patient evaluation, development and modification of individualized treatment plans, delegation and direction of discipline-specific therapy services, documentation, and engagement in professional development and student supervision.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Ohio state physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- No new graduates. Prior outpatient physical therapy experience required.
- Experience performing 60-minute evaluations and treatment sessions.
- Demonstrated ability to complete timely, accurate medical record documentation, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry.
- Adherence to state practice act, professional licensure in good standing, and completion of state-mandated continuing education.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supervising and educating students and supporting clinical education objectives.
- Experience with functional treatment programs focused on community reintegration and discharge planning.
- Familiarity with performance improvement initiatives and clinical competency programs.
Assignment Details
- Schedule: 5x8.
- Must be able to follow clinic appearance, attendance, and punctuality standards.
- May be required to provide discipline-specific direction and delegation for assigned patients.
- Participation in patient and employee safety initiatives and safe patient handling practices is expected.
