Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a travel job in Chandler, Arizona. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapy Assistant Discipline: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Travel Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant supporting outpatient services in a senior living community in Chandler, AZ. You will assist patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and remain active under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. The ideal candidate is flexible, independent, and prepared to work with older adults, including residents in memory care. Minimum Qualifications Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Active Arizona PTA license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Minimum 2,000 clinical hours required for PTA candidates. New graduate PTAs are not eligible. Experience working with older adults, geriatric populations, or in senior living settings preferred. Experience with Optima EMR or similar systems (Net Health-like) preferred. Ability to provide care in a memory care/locked unit; experience treating patients with late-stage dementia preferred. Preferred Qualifications Previous outpatient experience in a senior living or assisted living setting. Comfort floating between two nearby clinic locations on a rare basis. Demonstrated independence with patient management and documentation. Assignment Details Schedule: Monday through Friday with location split — Monday/Wednesday/Friday at one site and Tuesday/Thursday at the other site. Split between two locations approximately 15 minutes apart; occasional float between sites may be required. Productivity expectations: PTA 85%, PT 75% (for reference). Impacting Patient Care Provide hands-on rehabilitation services to residents in assisted living and memory care neighborhoods. Your role will support functional mobility, fall risk reduction, and activity tolerance for older adults. You will collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary staff to tailor plans of care for residents living with dementia and complex medical needs. The city is near the San Tan Mountain Regional Park, approximately 20–30 minutes by car, and is within a 25–30 minute commute to downtown Phoenix.
