Physical Therapist – Outpatient | Chandler, AZ

Join an outpatient physical therapy team in Chandler, AZ. Provide orthopedic evaluations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and guide patients toward functional goals and safe return to community activities. Document care in compliance with regulations and clinic policies. Participate in student education and professional development. Maintain professional licensure and comply with state practice acts. Adhere to clinic policies on safety, attendance, and professional appearance.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Arizona physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy preferred.
• Demonstrated competency in comprehensive evaluations, goal writing, functional treatment planning, and documentation compliant with state and federal guidelines.
• Ability to supervise and provide direction for discipline-specific therapy services and participate in student clinical education.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in outpatient clinic settings with orthopaedic caseloads.
• Experience with safe patient handling techniques and materials handling protocols.
• Participation in quality improvement initiatives and familiarity with performance improvement methodologies.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: 5x8.
• Clinic may require adherence to clinic guidelines for appearance, attendance, and punctuality.
• May participate in student supervision and professional development activities as assigned.

Impacting Patient Care

Provide high-quality, patient-centered rehabilitation services. Ensure care is delivered under valid physician orders and within insurance approvals when required. Promote patient and employee safety by following clinic safety programs covering safe patient handling, infection control, slips/trips and falls prevention, and material handling. Engage in performance improvement activities to enhance clinical outcomes.

Downtown Chandler features the Chandler Center for the Arts and a historic downtown with dining and events less than 10 minutes from many neighborhoods.
