Physical Therapist Location: Tampa, FL Agency: Jackson Therapy Partners Pay: $1,596 to $1,796 per week Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP
About the PositionLooking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Provide outpatient physical therapy services in Tampa, FL where you will evaluate patients, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and support patient return to community activities. The role includes delegation and direction of discipline-specific therapy services, patient and family education, student supervision when assigned, and documentation compliant with regulatory and payer requirements. Demonstrate professional conduct, uphold safety practices, and participate in performance improvement and professional development activities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Florida physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience working in an outpatient setting preferred.
- Ability to perform comprehensive evaluations, develop treatment plans, and document in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
- Familiarity with 60-minute evaluations and outpatient documentation, including letters of medical necessity and charge entry preferred.
- Must adhere to professional code of conduct and state practice act.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous travel or contract experience in outpatient clinics preferred.
- Experience supervising students and participating in clinical education preferred.
- Demonstrated competency in safe patient handling and materials handling preferred.
