Physical Therapist Location: Nashville, TN Agency: Jackson Therapy Partners Pay: $2,078 to $2,278 per week Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a Long-Term Care facility in Nashville, TN as a traveling Physical Therapist where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Tennessee Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment. BLS Certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and documenting care in accordance with state and federal guidelines. Experience managing caseloads in an inpatient or long-term care environment, including individual, concurrent, and group treatment sessions. Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, perform patient and family education, and complete discharge planning and home exercise programs. Familiarity with safe patient handling, infection control, and workplace safety practices. Willingness to participate in student supervision and professional development activities. Preferred Qualifications Prior travel therapy experience preferred. Experience with therapy documentation systems and completing letters of medical necessity preferred. Impacting Patient Care Provide comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to progress patients toward discharge. Complete timely, accurate documentation including daily notes, goal writing, functional quality indicators, letters of medical necessity, and discharge summaries. Uphold professional licensure and adhere to the applicable state practice act and organizational policies. Participate in performance improvement efforts and professional development activities.
