Physical Therapist Location: Albuquerque, NM Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,110 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 6/8/2026 About the Position Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Acute Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: New Mexico license (pending approval) Certifications: BLS, NM PT Must-Have: Prior experience in acute care settings Description: Looking for a Physical Therapist with acute care experience. Candidate must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in the field. Knowledge and skills required include acute care practices, adaptive devices, and patient assessments. Experience with assistive devices, gait training, and working with geriatric patients is essential. The therapist will be responsible for evaluating and implementing treatment plans for patients. Previous charge experience is preferred. Daily patient ratios will be 4 on day shifts. The unit will cater to adults and geriatric patient age groups. The daily census is expected to be around 175 patients. The therapist will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary support team. Travelers may be required to float to similar units as per facility needs. A brief orientation will be provided upon starting the contract.
