Travel Physical Therapist — Escondido, CA (Hospital)

Join a rehabilitation team in Escondido, California, providing inpatient acute rehabilitation services to patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury. The role involves delivering individualized therapeutic interventions, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and supporting patients through intensive recovery plans. Applicants should expect to work in a 52-bed acute rehabilitation hospital focused on maximizing function and quality of life.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active California Physical Therapist license required to begin the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in inpatient acute rehabilitation, including care for stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic diagnoses preferred.
• Experience working with interdisciplinary rehab teams and delivering intensive, individualized treatment plans preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a 52-bed or similar-sized inpatient acute rehabilitation facility preferred.
• Familiarity with rehabilitation assessments, outcome measures, and progress documentation preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 0800–1630.
• Work Days: Tuesday through Saturday.
