Physical Therapist Location: Burke, VA Agency: Concentric Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title Physical Therapist – Outpatient Location Virginia Schedule / Job Type Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Onsite | Monday 6:30 AM–12:30 PM, Tuesday/Thursday 9:00 AM–7:00 PM, Wednesday 6:30 AM–3:00 PM, Friday 7:00 AM–3:30 PM Key Responsibilities Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner, including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines Design functional treatment programs that support effective patient return to community activities within an established length of stay Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients Participate in student programs as assigned, providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and all applicable regulatory requirements, maintaining professional licensure in good standing Required Qualifications Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia Minimum of 6 months of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist Proficiency in outpatient physical therapy evaluation and treatment Ability to document accurately and in compliance with state, federal, and payer-specific guidelines Knowledge of and adherence to discipline-specific professional code of conduct and ethical standards Preferred Experience / Skills Experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting Familiarity with performance improvement methodologies and quality initiatives Active involvement in continuing education and professional development activities Why Join Us Opportunity to work in a structured outpatient environment with a strong emphasis on patient safety, quality care, and professional growth Supportive clinical setting that encourages ongoing professional development and participation in student mentorship programs
