Key Responsibilities of the Radiation Therapist
- Administer radiation therapy accurately while ensuring patient safety.
- Collaborate with the oncology team to develop treatment plans.
- Maintain detailed treatment records as per protocols.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as necessary.
Requirements of the Radiation Therapist
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in radiation oncology.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) certification.
- Certified as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT - RRT).
