The Role
Our client is seeking a qualified Radiation Therapist for a full-time permanent position in Missoula, MT 59804. This is a direct hire opportunity requiring in-person attendance at a specific clinical location. The successful candidate will administer radiation treatment to patients under the direction of a radiation oncologist, operating within established safety and regulatory protocols. One opening is available and has been vacant for more than 30 days.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed radiation treatments to patients in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Operate and calibrate radiation therapy equipment, ensuring accurate delivery of treatment plans
- Monitor patients during treatment sessions and report any adverse reactions or changes in condition
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatment records and patient data
- Collaborate with the radiation oncology team including physicians, dosimetrists, and physicists
- Adhere to all radiation safety standards, infection control practices, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
Must-Have
- Associate's degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited programme
- Radiation Therapy Certification current and in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification current
