Salary: $250,000-$325,000 + sign on bonus and relocation assistance

Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced orthopedic and soft tissue surgical procedures utilizing state-of-the-art instrumentation and techniques.
- Collaborate closely with emergency clinicians, specialty partners, and technical staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Diagnose and evaluate complex cases using digital radiography, CT, ultrasound systems, and minimally invasive modalities.
- Oversee anesthesia monitoring, pain management, and transfusion therapy to maximize patient safety and comfort.
- Contribute to hospital growth by managing a high-volume surgical caseload and meeting immediate referral demands.
- Mentor and support veterinary teams, fostering clinical excellence and professional development.
- Promote a culture rooted in compassion, preparedness, support, and clinical excellence among staff and clients.
Must-Have Skills:
- DVM (or equivalent) from an accredited veterinary school.
- Board-certified (DACVS) or residency-trained and board-eligible in veterinary surgery.
- Proven experience in advanced veterinary surgical techniques and procedures.
- Strong ability to interpret diagnostic imaging (CT, ultrasound, radiography, endoscopy).
- Exceptional communication skills with a collaborative and professional approach.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Interest or experience in mentorship, clinical leadership, or team development.
- Familiarity with minimally invasive surgical procedures and advanced instrumentation (LigaSure, GIA staplers).
- Expertise in managing pain and anesthesia for complex, high-risk cases.
- Experience working in multi-specialty, referral-driven veterinary hospitals.
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth and participation in continuing education.
