Description

(Kentwood, MI) Utilize expertise in global OEM process standards (i.e., ASPICE), global materials and supply chain standards, processes and regulations (i.e., VDA 6.3, CSDDD, and EU/ASEAN/USMCA tariff regulations) and international industry certifications (i.e., TISAX, IATF 16949, ISO 9001 / 14001 / 50001, and CMMC) to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on strategic corporate growth and global sales. Manage sales and purchasing reporting between the US and Swoboda’s headquarters in Germany and lead all aspects of local project management activities. Lead pricing, time-to-market and customer engagement strategies. Analyze and transfer existing product portfolio and identify suitable products to support the US market strategy. Drive sales and purchasing process transformation along the supply chain. Oversee global purchasing and supplier development to establish and maintain strong relationships with national and international partners. Manage commercial risks and tariffs. Utilize expertise in SAP and Plex ERP to train workers on global sales and purchasing systems to transform global integration and efficiency. Manage budgeting and financial planning. Establish cost reduction initiatives considering synergies in the Swoboda business network. Identify strategic changes in global company alignment regarding processes and products. Monitor capacity and supply planning. Establish and track key performance indicators.

Requirements

Minimum of a Master of Business Administration degree or related degree or foreign equivalent, and two years of global sales and purchasing experience with sensor applications (radar positioning, wheel speed, acceleration, seat positioning), actuators, coils, hv-applications (battery management, lid assemblies, battery disconnecting units) as a Sales Manager, Purchasing Manager, Head of Commodity Purchasing or related position in the automotive industry required.
